For more than thirty years Falkenhahn AG has produced euro pallets in one size only: 800 × 1,200 mm. After sixteen years under EPAL licence we secured the exclusive licence rights to manufacture the WORLD pallet in Europe in 2008.

As world markets become more closely interlinked, a uniform pallet standard is needed to rationalise logistics processes and guarantee worldwide acceptance of reusable pallets. With the WORLD pallet we offer a globally usable pallet with international potential.
The WORLD pallet is manufactured to the standardised specification for exchange pallets, EN 13698-1, on state-of-the-art lines and under strict quality rules.
Load capacity
Supported in racking or on the forks of an industrial truck, the WORLD pallet is designed for the following loads:
- 1,200 kg nominal load with the load freely distributed across the deck
- 1,700 kg nominal load with an evenly distributed load
- 2,200 kg nominal load with a compact load resting uniformly across the full deck
- 6,000 kg load on the bottom pallet in full-surface stacking
ISPM 15 for export
On request we supply the WORLD pallet as an export pallet to the IPPC standard ISPM 15. This kills all parasites and insects present in the wood, in particular the sirex woodwasp. Falkenhahn AG is authorised for this heat treatment by the Thuringian State Institute for Agriculture under registration number DE-TH1-490409.
Kiln drying
On request we dry the pallets technically and deliver them with a residual moisture below 20 % – particularly for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The exact drying time is determined by several probes driven into the timber.
Blocks
Pallets can be supplied with solid timber or pressed blocks.
Applications
The WORLD pallet is used across industry and retail in every sector – from chemicals and pharmaceuticals through the automotive, steel and construction industries to packaging, plastics and food. As a returnable and exchangeable pallet it runs in fully automated processes: loading and unloading, high-bay racking and conveyor systems. It is also widely used as an export pallet.
