Privacy policy
This website works without cookies, without analytics and without content from third-party servers. We only process what is needed to run the site and to answer your enquiries.
Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 GDPR
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is:
Falkenhahn AG
Auf der Hopfel
36419 Geisa OT Bremen
Germany
Phone: +49 36967 677-0
Email: info@falkenhahn.eu
The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host’s servers. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing our online offering securely and efficiently (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
3. Server log files
The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser transmits automatically:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the purpose of technically error-free operation and the security of the website. Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest.
4. Contact form and enquiries
If you contact us using the enquiry form, by email or by telephone, your details including the contact data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) where this was requested.
The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose for storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods – in particular under commercial and tax law – remain unaffected.
5. No cookies, no analytics
This website sets no cookies and stores no information on your device. There is no audience measurement and no web analytics: neither Google Analytics nor any comparable service is in use. No profiles are created and no data is passed to third parties for advertising or analysis.
Since we neither store information on your device nor access information stored there, consent under § 25 TDDDG is not required. For the same reason we do without a consent banner.
The single exception is the password-protected editing area at /admin/, used by our own staff only. While a member of staff is signed in, the server sets a technically necessary session cookie. It is required to operate the protected area (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG), holds no personal content and is deleted on sign-out. Visitors to the website never encounter it.
6. No embedded third-party content
Loading this website does not fetch any content from third-party servers. Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served exclusively from our own server. In particular, no map services, video platforms, font services or content delivery networks are embedded. Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any third party.
Links to other websites are recognisable as such. A connection to the respective provider is only established once you click such a link.
7. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
Please contact us at the address above at any time.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
In the event of breaches of the GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for our company is the Thuringian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
10. Changes to this policy
We adapt this privacy policy whenever changes to our processing operations make this necessary. The version available on this page applies in each case.
Note: this text is a carefully prepared template and does not constitute legal advice. Please have it reviewed by your legal counsel before going live and adapt it to the services actually in use. The German version is the legally binding one.
