The diagonal arrangement of two transponders in the corner blocks follows the GS1 RTI guideline. The result is 100 % detection even over greater distances.

Exchangeable stays exchangeable

WORLD RFID euro pallets comply with EN 13698-1. Fitting RFID transponders does not exclude the pallet from the euro pallet exchange pool. Field tests confirm the robustness of pallet and transponder: even severe exposure to cold, moisture and vibration does not impair communication between pallet and readers.

Advantages over optical identification

Compared with barcodes and 2D codes:

• Tamper-proof through encrypted data
• Resistant to dirt and free of wear – the transponder sits protected inside the block
• Independent of a clear line of sight
• Several pallet stacks readable and programmable at the same time
• Readable while in transit on forklift trucks
• High storage capacity in a small space
• Protection against counterfeiting through customer-specific data
