History

Josef Falkenhahn founded a joinery in Geisa in 1932. More than ninety years later, up to ten million euro pallets a year leave the same company site – including the world’s first wooden pallet with series-fitted RFID technology. The stages in between:

Own brand

After 16 years under EPAL licence, the switch to the exclusive WORLD licence – aligning with international markets.

The first manufacturer to integrate an RFID transponder invisibly and as standard into a wooden euro pallet.
